A section of residents from Nkubu have voiced their strong opposition to Raila Odinga’s recent call for dialogue with the government. Speaking candidly, they urged the opposition leader to “observe table manners,” arguing that he is now part of the same table as the government and should act accordingly. The residents expressed distrust in Raila’s past negotiation efforts, claiming that in every dialogue he has ever engaged in, it is always he and his close allies who end up benefiting. They cited last year’s dialogue process as an example, saying the final report — including the Nadco recommendations — was largely ignored, except for job placements that seemingly favored individuals close to Raila
