Ruto Signs Deal with Qatar for Infrastructure, Housing Projects in Kenya

The President said it is necessary for Kenya to build a new airport with the support of Qatar, which has successfully undertaken a similar project in Rwanda. Referring to the state of Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where the Indian-based Adani Group withdrew following public pressure and concerns over inadequate consultation, President Ruto said with Qatar’s partnership, Kenya would develop an advanced international airport.
